People ask how I got into advertising. The answer is simple. I saw a Nike spot (below) when I was young. It gave me goosebumps and immediately said, “I want to do that.”

No, it wasn’t Tag, Mars Blackmon, or Find Your Greatness.

It’s not even comparable to Apple 1984, Guinness Surfer, or Skittles Piñata.

It might not even be in my all-time top 50. Or 100.

But it cracked something open in my under-developed brain at the right time. And here we are.

So, thanks to whoever made it - really saved me from a life where I know my kids and can plan more than three days ahead.
